WHAT IS ANGLICAN WORSHIP?

When we gather to worship Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we join a liturgy already in
progress with the angels, archangels, and all the company of heaven before the great
throne. The design of our building, our decorations and vestments, and the words we speak
and sing bring us together to that place.

 WHAT SETS ANGLICAN WORSHIP APART FROM OTHER DENOMINATIONS?

* High church, use of vestments, traditional things

* Scripture readings from the Old Testment, Psalm Epistles, Gospel

* Sermons bring ancient text into pointed relevance today/my life this week

* We confess our sins during the service to help us approach God

* We pray very thoroughly for the needs of our congregation and our world
